Vassar Brothers Medical Center Poughkeepsie NY

The largest single construction project in the history of Poughkeepsie and one of the largest green roofs in NY, the Vassar Brothers Medical Center contains ~57,000 square feet of extensive green roof and ~15,800 square feet of amenity space. 3 different color blends of sedum mats were used to create a pattern visible from the rooms above. This roof is directly adjacent to the Hudson River and serves to retain and detain stormwater away from this watershed.
